Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information harinepal.com collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. The site is run by Hari Nepal, a freelance web designer based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Questions go to contact@harinepal.com.

What I collect

When you send an enquiry

The enquiry form is provided by HubSpot. What you type into it, such as your name, email address, website and message, is stored in my HubSpot account so I can reply and keep track of our conversation. If you arrive from the package finder or the cost calculator, your answers are added to the message so you don’t have to repeat them.

When you email me

Emails you send are kept in my inbox so I can reply and refer back to them.

When you browse the site

The site uses HubSpot’s tracking code, which sets cookies to measure visits, see which pages are read, and connect an enquiry to the pages that led to it. Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) also processes technical data such as your IP address and browser to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

The free tools and Maya

The package finder, the cost calculator and Maya, the chat assistant, run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere unless you choose to send them with an enquiry; the tools keep them in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab.

The AI voiceover generator sends your brief and scene text to an AI service (Google Gemini) to write the copy and generate the audio. This site does not store your briefs or the audio. Avoid putting personal or confidential information in a brief.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the project.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and working.

I don’t sell your information or share it with anyone except the services named here that run the site, and only for those purposes. I won’t add you to a mailing list without asking.

How long I keep it

Enquiries and emails are kept for as long as they’re needed to work with you, and deleted on request. Analytics data is kept according to HubSpot’s retention settings.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you by emailing contact@harinepal.com. I’ll reply within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If what the site collects changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
